Dr Dean is a vocationally trained General Practitioner from Galway, in the west of Ireland. He has a special interest in medical education and patient-centred care, and values consultations that focus on compassion, empathy, active listening, and patient education.

Dr Dean completed his medical degree at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) in 2017 and commenced general practice training immediately after his intern year. He trained across a range of urban and rural settings and was awarded Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) in 2022.

He has a strong background in medical education, having spent two years working with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). In 2025, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education through RCSI.

Dr Dean’s professional experience also includes work in a specialist ADHD clinic and telehealth services, and he remains committed to broadening his clinical and professional expertise while building strong, trusting relationships with his patients.
