Dr Umar Rathore is an experienced Family Medicine Specialist with more than 17 years of experience in medicine. He completed his medical and specialist training in the United Kingdom and holds an MBBS, MRCGP and CCT (UK), as well as a Master of Science in Molecular Pathology from the University of Manchester. Before completing his specialist training in General Practice, Dr Rathore gained broad hospital experience across a range of medical and surgical specialties.

Dr Rathore’s clinical interests include men’s and women’s health, musculoskeletal medicine, skin conditions, minor surgery, joint injections, preventative health and the management of acute and chronic medical conditions. His hospital training also included dedicated experience in psychiatry and mental health, providing him with experience in the assessment and management of common mental health concerns.

Having recently moved to Australia, Dr Rathore continues his career in family medicine with a strong focus on comprehensive, evidence-based care and continuity of care. He takes a thorough, patient-centred approach, listening carefully and explaining health conditions and treatment options clearly. Dr Rathore believes in working collaboratively with patients to develop practical, individualised healthcare plans that reflect their needs and circumstances.
